Fabulous Pair Antique Elkington Ice Buckets - 1881

Description

A very regal pair of ice buckets, I love their look and would make the perfect pair of vessels to serve ice.

They are created to appear like a traditional coopered bucket and each has a wonderful Armorial Crest to the front of a Crown above the initials H.C

Made from silverplate, they are lucky enough to have been made by the top -notch silversmith, Elkington & Co. Being Elkington we are able to date them accurately, these have the date letter for the year 1881.

Excellent used condition, standing 5" tall, the base diameter measuring 3 1/2" and a rim diameter measuring 4 3/4".
