George IV Mahogany Cellarette. C.1825

Description

A beautifully proportioned George IV Mahogany Cellarette - circa 1825, having wonderful colour and patina throughout. The hinged moulded lift up top opens to reveal 6 wine bottle compartments, to the base is a door which opens to reveal a further 6 bottle shaped storage compartments. The front of the Cellarette having geometric moulded decoration flanked by reeded inset pillars, with brass Lion ring carrying handles to the side. The whole raised on gadrooned squat bun feet with the original inset castors.

Dimensions: Height: 26 Inches - 66cm, Width: 21 1/2 Inches -54.5cm, Depth: 16 Inches - 41cm
