Description

A fine quality cylindrical tea caddy or cannister made from a hefty piece of crystal beautifully cut and polished.

The stunning lid is a riot of embossed or repousse decoration with a central circular vacant cartouche. The interior of the lid is lavishly gilded.

The lid and collar are sterling silver both having been hallmarked for Sheffield 1888 together with the highly sought-after Queen Victoria's head duty mark. The makers mark is also present W.P.

Superb condition, the base having a diameter measuring 3 1/2"; the lid having a diameter measuring 3 3/4" and standing 6 1/2" tall.
