Gents 1940s Paul Buhre Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A super 1940s / early 1950s Paul Buhre gents wrist watch in lovely condition.

The watch has a calibre 194 hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is signed Paul Buhre, Swiss.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the tear drop shaped lugs. It is in lovely condition for its age with just minor surface marks - there are some small numbers on the side of the case and on the back of one of the lugs from an old service.

The dial has a short light scratch but it is all very acceptable.

The signed dial is all in its original finish which is in lovely condition, perhaps just a little age related darkening.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
