Pair of late C19th Dutch walnut armchairs. Faithful copies of early C18th design walnut armchairs with ornate burr-walnut veneered back- splats . Shaped cabriole front legs with pad feet,'shepherds crook' arms, shaped drop-in seats with shaped cartouche to front rail. Overall bold, broad proportions ,elbow pad upholstery to arms. Excellent, strong condition with no breaks or repairs, good rich honey-coloured walnut frames. Old clean upholstery , but could benefit from re-covering.
