Antique Distressed Leather Wing Back Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique Georgian style leather wing armchair has loads of character, generous proportions & is very comfortable. The leather is quite distressed, with quite a bit of crazing & distress marks. However, the condition of the leather is good, with no rips, tears or holes. This armchair is very sturdy, helped by the fact that it sits on mahogany feet that are joined by cross stretchers. It also has a loose cushion & is hand tacked all over. I would date it to around the 1910-20's period.

Depth - 31.5", 80 cm

Height - 45", 114 cm

Seat height - 71", 43 cm
