Description

A Mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period antique wardrobe. The wardrobe having "century box" ends with shaped bevelled mirrored doors, which open to reveal hanging space and hooks and also having an unusual rare feature of a bureau cabinet in the central section. The fall which is beautifully inlaid with a marquetry basket of flowers, opens to reveal a fitted writing interior with the original green leather writing surface, above two mahogany lined storage drawers. The base with a further two mahogany lined storage drawers which are beautifully inlaid with floral marquetry baskets and trailing harebells. The whole supported on a solid mahogany plinth, satinwood cross banded throughout. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 85" high x 84" wide x 22" deep

Condition: This wardrobe is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed. Ware to the leather writing surface commensurate with age and use.
