Surmounted by the cast brass carrying handle, the mahogany case, of excellent colour, features four original gilt finials; applied ormolu mount to the bell top; ormolu spandrels and an inner gilded 'slip' frame to the door and cast brass ogee feet. To the side are the original "fishscale" frets backed by dark green silk.
The dial incorporates the well engraved and silvered chapter rings with "Strike/Silent" in the arch and date aperture above "VI".

The signature is engraved to the dial and repeated on the engraved backplate. Full working order and guaranteed for at least two years.
