Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
We have lightened some of the photos more than we would wish to show the details clearly, but in reality it is a dark rich colour.
The octagonal base is the original and has a decorative pattern on all sides. The base on it's own measures 27cm in height and approximately 28cm across.
It is one of the most striking spelter figures we have had in stock over our 23 years of trading. We recently had it rewired and a new felt base put underneath so that it can stand on any surface . It would look fabulous either standing on the floor or on a plinth.
Because of the size and weight of the light, we would prefer personal collection or a designated courier for delivery, although we could deliver ourselves within easy reach of the M25.
The lamp can be viewed in the Surrey area, and more photos can be sent if required.
