P. REISSGUIER: a charming late 19th century GILT BRONZE SCULPTURE of "Salome".

This charming figure depicts a scantily-clad young lady, with long hair, resting her right leg on the head of John the Baptist. She stands on the original Sienna Marble and gilt bronze base, and is signed by both the artist and with the foundry mark of Espie, PARIS. 12.5ins (31.75cms) high.
