Gents Vintage 1930s Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A gents 1930/40s Art Deco hand-winding wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 21.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs. The case is chrome plated with a stainless steel back. Both the lens and the case are in very nice condition with just very light surface marks; it looks as though the watch has hardly been worn.

The dial is in good condition too and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A later black leather strap has been fitted.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
