Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
As you would expect from Omega the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched.
The snake design bracelet is of solid 9ct white gold and has a three position clasp, the lugs are fully articulated and it just simply glides around the wrist.
This watch was obviously bespoke made and originally would have had a black cordette strap, the 9ct gold bracelet was added later and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1953.
It has approximately 1.5cts of diamonds.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 6.75 inches but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
The was case measures 17mm not including the crown and the total length from each end of the lugs is 52mm.
It is quite stunning, the dial has been fully restored so is in perfect condition. A new glass has been fitted and the watch and bracelet professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
It has a top grade 17 jewel manual wind movement - it is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Omega the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.
It comes complete with its original presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Omega are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class, truly a piece of jewelery which will never date.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift.
The watch has just been fully overhauled, restored and serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
