Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
His workshops were at 156 The Strand, London and the firm was dissolved in 1833.

The fusee movement is a wonderful piece of engineering and as you can see is in tip top condition.
The mahogany case has has a wonderful rich colour and patina with carved floral motifs which is typical of the period, this is complimented by the original unrestored dial which is in lovely original condition and the contrasting brass inlay.

The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service by Alan Williams who is a Fellow of the British Horological Institute so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

This is the best Regency wall clock we have had in the last ten years and a rare opportunity to own a clock from this period by a premier maker in such incredible condition.
