A George III Sheraton Period Inlaid Mahogany D Shaped Card Table Circa 1780

Description

A very elegant George III Sheraton period mahogany D-shaped card table, circa 1780. The fold-over cross-banded top inlaid with multiple lines of boxwood and ebony stringing, opening to reveal a red baize interior supported by a double gate-leg action to the rear. The frieze and tapering legs similarly strung and with spade feet.

In good condition throughout, the baize interior has been professionally restored.

73cm high x 81cm wide x 40cm deep.
