Description

This is a very fine cabinet and it is aesthetically beautiful having been constructed with superbly figured pitch pine.

The twenty drawer cabinet is complete with stand and bears the makers ivory plaque stating "c.h.longley maker". Few of this makers pieces still exist.

The twenty drawers are made to the very highest standard and all run smoothly on hidden bearer runners. All the original, closely fitting glazed frames are present and the drawers are papered and have a base layer of cork. Each drawer has a hidden universal cell on the inside perimeter.

Fully operative lock and key, bolts and fixings.

This cabinet will lend itself to a multitude of collecting pursuits and will display and protect the collection admirably.
