Art Deco 0.50 Carat Diamond "Box Step" Engagement Ring, Circa 1930

Description

Love! Love! Love! A platinum box collet with three smaller boxes which step down either side. Smaller diamonds nestle in the corners of the main box; a detail you don't necessarily see at first, but which gives this sparkle with every turn of the hand. Beautifully and boldly made.

Cut - Old mine / miner cut

Colour - I

Clarity - SI.

Carat - Appoximately 0.50 carat in the centre with a further estimated 0.25 in the sides. 0.75 carat total.

Circa - 1930

Condition - Excellent.

Size - Currently J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down in size.

Measurements - The setting of the ring measures 15.9mm by 7.3mm and sits 5.7mm from the finger.

Metal - Platinum. Stamped.
