An Antique Students Candle Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a late 19thC - early 20th brass Student's candle lamp with the original brass shade, and is in excellent condition with no signs of repair.

It measures 44cm in height and 13cm across the base, the brass shade is 16cm across.

The shade was specifically designed to curve around the lit candle to reflect the light outwards, giving a stronger light for reading/writing, hence the name 'Student's Light'.

The price includes postage and package within the UK mainland only. Quotes for outside deliveries can be given.

The shade is the same bright colour brass as the rest of the light, but the camera flash and curve of the shade has caused it to appear a bit greenish!
