Antique Set 4 Golden Oak Dining Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A set of 4 Antique Edwardian chairs in solid golden oak in an Arts and Crafts style. They have carved backs which culminate in square finials and have three pierced back splats. They stand on tapered legs with square feet and have arched cross stretchers. They are upholstered in a green velor/velvet fabric which is clean but the springs have a lot of give and so are in need of reupholstery. Very solid, substantial chairs which would make excellent dining chairs.

Oak

Condition Report:

Frames in good condition. Very solid and sturdy. Fabric is clean but has some marks/discolouration in places and springs are very loose. In need of re-upholstery.
