Description

A Stunning quality mahogany inlaid Late Victorian antique display cabinet by Maple & Co. Having a rectangular fiddle back mahogany top surmounted by an ormolu balustrade gallery. The frieze with a central shell inlaid motif, trailing foliate marquetry inlaid detail and urn inlaid panels, above a single glazed door opening to reveal a silk lined interior and three plate glass shelves. The pilasters having ribbon and trailing harebell detail and with glazed ends with line inlaid detail, the whole supported on square tapering supports terminating in spade feet united by a shaped shelved under tier circa 1890-1900

Condition: This cabinet is in stunning condition, re-polished and re-lined
