Description

An unusual and good pair of ladies and gents Arts and Crafts reclining armchairs in the Liberty's Style. Made from solid oak of good colour with shaped broad arms. The backs and sides with further arts and crafts decoration. Both standing on square and moulded legs with strengthening cross stretchers. The backs are hinged and recline by moving a brass rod back or forward. This pair of chairs are in A1 condition but will need new cushions as the old are past their best.

The max. outside sizes are the same, the ladies chair has a higher seat and shorter back. Sizes (Not inc. cushions) of both chairs :- Max.Height...39.5''...100cm. Width...27''...68.5cm. Depth...31.75''...80.5cm. Seat heights- Ladies.15'' (38cm). Gents 12.5'' (31.5cm). Plus cushions. Delivery to most of U.K. £65.
