Antique Edwardian Mahogany Demi Lune Card Table

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant antique Edwardian demi-lune games or card table in mahogany. It stands on tapered legs and is decorated with stringing/banding to the top and legs. The mahogany is a beautiful mellow faded brown and it is solid and sturdy. The table top folds out to reveal a baize topped surface for playing cards. It has a space within a drawer of the table leg for storing cards, dice etc. A highly portable, attractive and functional piece of antique furniture in good condition.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany.

Condition Report:

Good condition. It appears to have been recently restored and lightly French polished. The green baize surface has a few small mends. Very solid and sturdy.
