A charming and elegant Victorian cake stand in silver plate, especially popular at the moment with the resurgence of Afternoon Tea and Home Baking, what better way to entertain with fine tableware.

The two shaped plates are beautifully pierced or reticulated and engraved, the pretty outlined with a beaded rim.

Each plate bears the makers mark (crossed keys) for the top-notch silversmith, Henry Wilkinson. Excellent condition, the stand measures 12" x 9" foot to foot and stands 12 1/2" tall; each plate measures 7 3/4" in diameter.
