Gents Vintage Watch, 1930 Dimier Freres & Cie Silver Mens Wrist Watch

A gents 1930 silver Dimier Frere & Cie wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss jewelled hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped DF&C (Dimier Freres & Cie) 15 jewels, shock proof and Swiss made

The watch measures 25.9 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 38.8 mm high excluding the lugs. The case is sterling silver and there are import marks inside the case back for London 1930 with the importers mark DBs (Dimier Brothers). The case has the odd mark commensurate with its age but overall the condition is pretty good. The case back has light surface marks and mild denting although it has a good vintage look.

The lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The dial has shock proof with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has light discolouring and some wear to the outer edge although it has a good vintage look. The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch has a later black leather strap.
