Antique Early Victorian William IV Flame Mahogany Linen Press

Description

Very impressive & original antique flame mahogany Linen Press in good original condition dating to around the 1830-40's William IV period, with a nice original colour & great figuring in the wood. The top cupboard still has the original sliding trays inside with the original blue lining paper still attached. There is a chest of drawers on the base section, with turned bun handles & there are turned bun feet underneath it. There are many other nice features on this piece, like the arched panelled doors, the wonderful veneers, the fine dovetails & the pronounced cornice. Like I said before, it's in good original condition & there is no warping on the doors. There will be various minor markings on the wood, commensurate for the age, but nothing that detracts. Remember this item is about 170 years old. It also comes apart in two sections for easier transportation.
