Antique Edwardian Mahogany Duet Piano Stool

1900 - 1920
Description

These duet piano stools are becoming quite hard to find, because they are becoming increasingly popular to be used at the end of a double bed. Of course you could just use it as a piano stool. This one is antique Edwardian, solid mahogany & in good original condition. It has a lift up seat, which has been re-upholstered in calico & it has storage inside. The seat has mechanism inside that can keep the seat open when lifted up (see one of the images). The arms & legs are nicely shaped. I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period.

Width - 40.5", 103 cm

Depth - 13.8", 35 cm

Height - 24", 61 cm

Seat height - 21.3", 54 cm
