Pair of Antique French Carved Needlepoint Salon Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Pair of antique open arm French salon armchairs in walnut, with original needlepoint upholstery, hand tacked around the edges. The frames are sturdy & are nicely carved too. These chairs are in good original condition, especially for their age, which I would at around the 1910 period. The needlepoint upholstery is also in good original condition & has some lovely colours incorporated within it. The condition of the fabric is quite amazing considering the age. I've spotted one very small blemish on the seat (see the image).
