Description

Early Victorian all iron king size bed with lovely shapes and good quality detail in decorative castings. We have sympathetically restored and extended and strengthened the side rails which have been adapted to support wood slats. Corner joints known as chills have been checked for good fit so the bed is solid and strong ready to give another hundred years service and pleasure.Hand finished in heritage blue/grey colour.

Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6"

Max head height 56"; foot board height 46" side rail height 16".

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

Alternatively we can supply mini box bases 2" with platform top (£225) or 4"with springs (£275)for superior mattress support and get into bed height. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
