Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The mahogany shelves are also lined in the same fabric. There is some fine carving all over the top section, down the sides & just above the legs. This cabinet sits on a base section consisting of 6 tapered legs culminating in spade end feet. There is also a polished mahogany under-tier that sits between the legs. This whole base section separates from the top section, making easier transportation. The mahogany on this display cabinet has a really nice patina & a good original colour. It dates to around the 1890-1910 period.
