Description

A wonderful nineteenth century large glove box, perfect as a jewellery box with it's stunning Fuchsia coloured original tufted silk lining.

The box is made from Burr Cedar with edges in Tulipwood. The top of the slightly domed lid is beautifully decorated with Ebony and cut brass inlay.

Dating to around 1870 and complete with a working key, the box remains in excellent condition. 12 1/2" x 4" x 3".
