A Good Regency Burr Elm and Ebony Inlaid Work Table

Description

A good Regency burr elm and ebony inlaid work table; the rectangular top with drop flaps incorporating rounded corners, wide ebony stringing and ebonised reeded edge, above two oak lined frieze drawers with brass ring handles above a pull out pleated silk work basket and dummy drawers to the reverse; raised on lyre end supports with turned roundels united by a turned stretcher, raised on down swept legs with turned roundels to both sides, raised on original brass hairy paw castors. Lovely warm colour and patina.
