Description

Large antique Victorian chest of drawers in mahogany with rounded corners in good original condition. This chest has a wonderful original faded colour & patina. It's also in great condition with no warps or splits & the drawers have fine dovetails. There are turned wooden bun handles on the deep drawers & it sits on a plinth base. The top is solid mahogany. It has been to our workshop where it was gently polished, keeping the original warm colour & all the drawers made to work well. These large chests of this vintage are becoming very hard to find in this condition & this one dates from around the 1860-80 period.
