Regency Gilt Mirror or Over Mantle

The Regency carved Frame is a rectangular shape, it has corinthian columns at either side and a gesso neo classical scene depicting carriages being pulled by lions and angels trumpeting in the sky. The mirror has three rectangular glasses, the glasses are original and in excellent condition,they are bevelled and the large one in the centre has an etched border

The Age Darkened Gold paint on the Frame has a genuine shabby look, some of the gesso decoration is worn and chipped but it is a charming if less than perfect piece

The mirror is 56” wide and 36” high
