Description

A near pair of yew wood mid 19th century high back windsor chairs. Each chair having a traditional high hooped back with "Christmas Tree" pierced central back splats and yew tree spindles. The shaped arms having delicate cut outs above a dished ash seat, supported on typical yew turned front supports and ash rear supports, united by crinoline stretchers. A wonderful colour and patination English probably Yorkshire circa 1850-1860

Dimensions: 42" high x 23" wide x 18" deep (Seat height 18")

Condition: This pair of chairs are in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
