A Pair of a Mureau Spelter Cherubs

1900 - 1920
Description

This pair of A Mureau cherubs are in excellent condition and have superb details throughout.

We have lightened the photographs so that all the details and expressions on the cherubs faces can be seen easily, but in reality the figures are a lovely rich dark brown.

They measure 30cm in height and the green original marble bases are 11cm in diameter.

There is no damage or repair to either cherub.

One is holding a shield decorated with a heart with an arrow through it, and the other is looking wistfully to one side and holding a case for arrows.

The signature of A Mureau is clearly marked on both, and the word FRANCE.

Our price includes postage and package within the UK mainland only, but we are happy to quote for overseas delivery.
