A French gilt Duchesse Brisee or day bed which splits into , three parts, all in the Louis XVI style. Being a very flexible piece of furniture it can be used as two seats and a stool. A very elegant piece of furniture, it was sourced in this country having been in the same family for a considerable period, it would be a difficult item to find in France in gilt like this. Old fabric now rather tatty but can be easily recovered by our selves if desired. measuring 77" long by 30" wide by 39" high.
