Description

A stunning and highly decorative antique English Rosewood box lavishly inlaid with foliate cut brass.

The box has been beautifully re-lined with a hand-marbled paper, creating a clean and fresh interior for whatever you decide to use it for. There is a removable tray which is trimmed in cut steel, a typical embellishment of this era.

A superb box in excellent condition, dating from around 1820 .. nearly 200 years old. Complete with working tasseled key 10" x 7 1/2" x 4" tall.
