A Good French Striking Carriage Clock

Description

A fine quality 19th century FRENCH STRIKING CARRIAGE CLOCK complete with original numbered key and travelling case.

Housed in its substantial "Corniche" case, this good quality clock retains its original lever platform escapement and strikes hours and half-hours on a gong. The original enamel dial is in good condition as are the original Breguet 'moon' hands. Signed to the dial: "DENT Royal Exchange LONDON".

Complete with original (numbered) winding key, and leather travelling case. Guaranteed for at least two years.
