Pair of Antique Victorian Satin Birch Chests

Description

Fabulous pair of antique Victorian satin birch chests of very unusual proportions. They could work as high bedsides or maybe just a pair of stands. These chests are very good quality, with rounded corners, graduated drawers all with locks & original handles & they sit on plinth bases. They are in excellent condition & the grain of wood is stunning, along with the colour & patina. I would say they date from around the 1840-60 period.

Depth - 16", 41 cm

Height - 35.8", 91 cm
