A Sheraton Revival Edwardian Period Satinwood Painted Table

Description

A Sheraton Revival Edwardian Period satinwood painted side table/hall table/console table. Having a satinwood rectangular top of slightly breakfront outline cross banded in Kingwood and having a central oval painted still life panel, flanked by further hand painted cornucopia with ribbon, swag and floral painted detail. The border being similarly painted with ribbon and floral detail. Supported on four elegant square tapering satinwood supports with spade feet with further beautiful ribbon and floral detail. The frieze also having floral painted detail and is finished all around so it can be used behind a sofa or free standing. The original design by Thomas Sheraton circa 1770-1780. English circa 1900-1910

Condition: This table is in excellent original condition. Minor wear to the paint on the top commensurate with age and use
