Wonderful Antique English Gilded Dog Collar C.1850

Description

A quite fabulous example, all totally original, untouched and complete. The leather collar is laden with a gilded metal chain with attached bells, all around, all original and intact. The original name tag is also intact, unused.

The adjustable clasp has the original working padlock and original tiny key, used both unlock and lock the padlock. The approximate usable length of the collar is between 11 1/2" to 12 1/2".

A true Victorian gem in excellent condition, dating to around 1850.
