Description

A superb slim line mahogany long-case clock of classic Georgian design and being only 84" tall. The 8 day twin train movement strikes on a bell on the hour. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mth guarantee.

The arched brass dial has gilded spandrels with a silvered chapter ring and silvered cartouche signed R.M.ADAM, DUMTRIE. It has a subsiduary seconds dial and working date dial.

The mahogany case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a full length shaped-top door with a Sheraton style shell inlay. It has reeded and spiralled quarter columns to the trunk and a moulded plinth to the base.
