Antique Edwardian Oak Arts & Crafts Single Bed

1900 - 1920
Description

A single antique Edwardian oak bed in Arts and Crafts Style in lovely aged and figured oak. It has 5 rails graduated in size along the headboard and footboard the outside uprights topped with square finials. It comprises of a headboard, footboard sprung metal base with label which reads “The Coilex, Guaranteed For Ever”. The frame stands on castors. The frame can be easily assembled or dis-assembled. The frame should accommodate a standard single sized mattress.

Good condition. General wear and marks commensurate with age. One of the uprights of the footboard is slightly warped/bent (Does not effect the structure of the bed).

Height to Headboard: 41" / 104cm
