A Mahogany Regency Period Twin Pedestal Antique Dining Table

Description

A mahogany Regency Period twin pedestal antique dining table. Having a cuban mahogany top with rounded ends and two original leaf inserts, supported on twin turned mahogany pedestals with swept reeded supports terminating in brass lions paw castors. English circa 1820

Dimensions: 86" long fully extended x 48" wide x 28" high (leaves 19.5" each) 47" long with no leaves

Condition: This table is in excellent condition, re-polished in our workshops. The bearers for supporting the leaves have been replaced at some time. This table was once sold by Norman Adams Antiques of London, who were until recently prestige suppliers of antique furniture in London and bears a Norman Adams Antiques label to the underside. One of the pillars has an old repair.
