A Good Pair of Mahogany George II Style Irish Chippendale Side Tables

1900 - 1920
Description

A good pair of mahogany George II Style Irish Chippendale side tables. Each one having a rectangular solid mahogany top with a carved moulded edge, above a blind fret Chippendale designed frieze with a gadrooned border and central carved shell cartouche (typical of Irish Chippendale Period designed furniture). Supported on front cabriole supports with beautifully carved acanthus leaf detail and with claw and ball feet. Supported at the rear by square chamfered legs with sausage and pea moulded detail. These tables are intended for use as side/console tables but can be interlocked for use as a single table. Irish Chippendale design circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 30" wide x 14.5" deep x 29" high

Condition: This pair of tables are in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
