A Stylish Mahogany Regency Period Antique Linen Press

Description

A Stylish mahogany Regency Period antique linen press. The upper section with an architectural pediment and a central circular roundel, above the twin beautifully figured mahogany panelled doors with ebony moulding and a brass strip moulding. The doors open to reveal five mahogany lined sliding trays. The ends with recessed pilasters with typical Regency turned mahogany and ebony roundels. The lower section with an arrangement of two small and two large rectangular drawers, again using the finest figured mahogany. The drawer linings also mahogany, each having beautifully cast circular brass drawer pulls. The base also with recessed pilasters. The whole supported on the original swept front legs and square tapering rear legs. English circa 1810-1820

Dimensions: 89" high x 52" wide x 24" deep

Condition: This press is in stunning condition, wonderful colour. Cleaned and waxed
