Antique William 1v Mahogany Chiffonier Sideboard C1830

Antique William 1V Mahogany Chiffonier or Sideboard and dating from around 1830. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a serpentine shaped top with moulded edge and scrollwork to each side. The top to the twin pedestal base has a moulded edge above a central long frieze drawer which is ash lined and flanked on either side by a panelled door with arched moulding and internally to one side there is a drawer to the top with shelf and above three sliding trays all of which have baize lining. To the other side there is a drawer to the top with a shelf below and to the base there is a cellaret drawer. All of the drawers are ash lined and with brass handles. The whole standing on a plinth base. Dismantles for ease of transporting.

Measures: 54" high x 36" high to top of base x 27" deep x 74" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
