The head of the bed has exquisite brass spindles and turnings, on close inspection you can see the shapes of leaves in the castings, this matches the foot end which is a scaled down version. There are hanging rails to the top and side bracket and these have antique embroidered linen drapes
The bed is in good and sound condition, with only very minor dings it is a timeless in design it will go very well in a Victorian designed bed room with your own choice of drapes, it comes with a purpose made wooden base and requires only a 54” x 76” mattress
The bed breaks down for transportation, it is 8ft high at the top, the foot is 4ft high, the overall width is 57” it is 82” long and it is 17” from the floor to the under bed
