With galleried top and a panelled front door which opens to reveal an interior with one shelf.

Charles Hindley & Son were London furniture and cabinet makers who traded from 1766-1898. Their premises were in Oxford Street, London, from where they made furniture by Royal Appointment, and also exhibited in the Great Exhibition.

Wear and marks commensurate with age. Door latch does not work. Has had worm to base which has been treated with worm killer as a precaution. There is a dark ring mark and discolouration to the top.
