Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The drawers all have closely fitting, lift off glazed frames to the top and are base lined in cork and paper.(if re-papering is required we are masters of the art!).
The original lock and two keys are present and all the glass is intact and undamaged.
The proportions of this example are smaller than those I have shown before and are perfectly balanced.a fine cabinet made during the heyday of the golden age of collecting by one of the best makers.
