A wonderful little Jewelry box dating to the Regency era, around 1820.

The box stands on four very grand and very English cast Lion's paw feet and each side having a wonderful Lion's face ring handle. The box is covered in red leather, the interior gives you a glimpse of the vibrant colour it would have been 200 years ago, the exterior sporting a fabulous aged patina.

The inside of the lid has the most charming engraving on cream silk (a couple of minor imperfections, commensurate with age).

Complete with a working key, a lovely box in very good condition. Measuring 6" x 4" foot to foot x 3 3/4" tall.
